Award of Excellence for Comptrollership in the Public Sector
1. Innovation Award Category

Nomination/Selection Process:

  1. Each nominator may submit only one nominee (individual).

  2. The time frame for which a nominee will be judged is January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2009.

  3. The recipient(s) will be selected by a distinguished selection committee comprised of senior public servants, industry experts and one official from CMA Canada.

  4. Individuals may be re-nominated in future years, based on a significant contribution that they made in the time frame of that year’s award.

  5. All nominations must be received by Friday, January 22, 2010.

2. Financial Leadership (CFO) Award Category

Nomination/Selection Process:

  1. Each nominator may submit only one nominee (individual) for consideration.

  2. The nominee is judged on the areas outlined in the award criteria. There is no specific time frame.

  3. The recipient will be selected by a distinguished selection committee comprised of senior public servants, industry experts and one official from CMA Canada.

  4. Individuals may be re-nominated in future years.

  5. All nominations must be received by Friday, January 22, 2010.

CMA-CIPFA Lifetime Achievement Award
Nomination/Selection Process:

  1. Each nominator may submit only one nominee (individual) for consideration.

  2. The award will be given at the discretion of the selection committee for the Award of Excellence for Comptrollership in the Public Sector. It may not be awarded annually and is not primarily dependant on consideration forms.

  3. Individuals may be re-nominated in future years, based on a significant contribution that they made throughout their career.

  4. All nominations must be received by Friday, January 22, 2010.
